Breaking News: 2 dead and 8 injured as Bomb Explosion Rocks Borno State



A bomb explosion has occurred in Banki-Usmanari-Kumshe road, Borno state. Two people were reported dead and eight others injured. This incident occurred at 8am this morning. The explosion was said to have destroyed one canter truck. The injured victims are receiving treatment in the hospital.

Pandemonium in Ikorodu as Lagos state Govt. bans Red BRT buses.




Recently, it was reported that the Lagos state government has banned the Red buses in Lagos. This did not go down well as workers of the red buses and some hoodlums took to the stresst to protest  and even stopped the blue buses from operating.  The ban of the red buses has made people plying Mile 12-Ketu- Ojota-Maryland-Oshodi route to remain stranded in the bus stop since 6am.

Many injured as heavy rain destroys building in Ikotun, Lagos


Customers were reported injured and rushed to the hospital after a building collapses following a heavy rain in Ikotun, Lagos

The collapsed building was said to be a mobile phone retail shop and those affected were mainly customers who came to buy phones.

A 31-year-old artisan identified as Gafar Ajibola, drowned in Ogun River during a police raid on Oniyanrin community in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of the state, in the early hours of Saturday October 29th. According to eyewitnesses, Gafar was at the river washing his clothes when the police stormed there in search of hoodlums.
